Our La Prima mini-humbucker is extremely touch-sensitive, with sweet chiming highs, scooped mids, and tight low end. Open and articulate, it responds to subtle variation in technique without the typical humbucker compression. With both pickups engaged, the tone is transparent and snappy. The neck position has a pleasing rounded sound, whereas the bridge pickup can bite and twang when asked to do so. NOTE: Using one of our Soapbar/LP Deluxe mounting rings, our La Primas can also be installed as direct drop-in replacements for guitars with standard P-90 soapbar routs.
